Running the Lottery Software Using Vista

By default your lottery program is installed into C:\Program Files\UltraLott {name} In versions below Vista all the files subsequently created or amended by the program were stored in this folder. This is also true if the program is run with Administrator privileges, so if you want the program to work in the same way, you should right-click on the UltraLott {name} and select properties. Then select Compatibility and tick the box in Privilege Level run this program as administrator.

If you do not want to run the program as an administrator, that is fine, but if you installed into the default program files directory then all data created and used by the program following installation will now be stored at Computer > C: > Users > {yourname} >AppData > Local > Virtual Store > Program Files > UltraLott {name} This means that if you have multiple users using your pc and they want to run the lottery program each user can have their own entry files, setup files and any other files used to configure the program as it will be local to them.

If you are a single user of your pc and you installed into the program files folder and you are not running the program with administrator privileges, you should make sure that any new files manually added are in fact added to the virtual store and not the installation folder as they will not be read by the program from that location. So if you are adding playslip configuration files for example they should not be added to the installation folder but to the virtual store.
