Step By Step Guide to Lottery Ticket Printing Calibration

Lotto Ball

The following is a step by step guide on how to configure the built-in ticket printing software.

All tickets are laid out differently with different numbers of boards, some have bonus balls some not and so on. But using this guide you will soon be able to configure your game files easily.

Step 1 - Examine Paper Guide Capabilities

First you need to establish the capabilities of your printer paper guides to determine if you can print in "portrait" mode or if you have to print in "landscape" mode.

Some printer guides will not adjust to the narrow width of lottery playslips, if this is the case with your printer, use the "landscape" calibration method. If your guides can adjust to the narrow width, use the "portrait" calibration method.

The following pictures show the two different approaches:

"Portrait" Printing

This is the preferred method.

Note the use of the narrow width setting for the guides in the above picture. It is possible that your printer paper guides will not adjust to this narrow setting. If so, try the "landscape" calibration method below.

Note the use of the wide width setting for the guides in the above picture.

Step 2 - Select Feed Orientation

Using the above, you should now have decided which calibration method (portrait or landscape)  you need to use for printing your playslips, so select the appropriate link below to continue.
