We have been selling lottery software on the web since 1994 when the first program was made for the Florida and the UK lottery. Due to that program's success, this was extended to include other lotteries like Canada, South Africa, Australia and finally New Zealand. Thousands of versions have been sold to date.
I would appreciate any emails concerning any bugs or faults in any of the programs as that way I can fix them and offer an even better product. Any bug is usually fixed within a day!
You can try the lottery software free of charge for 25 uses, it is fully functional and does not use included advertising or any other such methods. The program can be used without web access (but if you need to use the lottery draw result updater a web connection is required). Each installation package comes with some results, but these will be out of date. All lottery draw result files can be obtained from this web site, by visiting the appropriate game link(s) on the Home page of this site. The cost of buying the programs is also contained in these Home page link(s). This currently ranges from $20 to $25 depending on the software.
All results are updated daily. Every effort is made to ensure results are entered
correctly, but you should always check with official sources regarding any win.
The installation kit is packaged as an .exe file using Innosetup to create the package. Each installation kit is about 2.5MB and should take about 10 minutes to download on a 56K modem. Note that the installation kits are compressed using 7-Zip compression - this requires a minimum of 4 MB of free RAM for installation. Using 7-Zip compression allows the installation packages to be reduced from 3.5 MB (using normal zip compression) to 2.5 MB saving you download time.
All lottery programs are developed and built using
Visual Basic 6.0 Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 6 on a Windows Vista and
Windows 7 O/S to ensure system compatibility; development will gradually move
over to VB net once the next version, after Windows 8, is released. VB Net
is not used currently as many users do not have the framework installed. Installation
of any of these programs add the Visual Basic Run-Time files to your computer which will enable you to
run any VB program that requires these files.
The package script ensures that NONE of your system files are
overwritten with older versions and only redistributable Microsoft files are
included. This ensures that your system is not adversely affected in any way
by the installation. For those of you who are more technical, see
a typical Innosetup script.
Note this is an example of a set up script for UltraLott Texas.
All packages are virus checked using the latest signatures from Microsoft Security Essentials. You should use your own virus checker to confirm any downloads are free from viruses, spyware and other malware.
All mails and correspondence are treated confidentially and not offered or supplied to third parties.
We currently use 3 servers:
justlottery.com - which is located in the USA and is used to supply the download files for both the lottery software and results; a second server located at a different site ensures lottery results will always be available if the main server goes down. Customers should check their existing version and upgrade if necessary.
ultralott.com - this site has been phased-out but a redirect is in place so that browsers will still reach the main web site.
