Configuring Powerball for New 1-59 and 1-39 Game

When Florida joins the Powerball Game, the ball numbers will change to 1/59 main ball and 1/39 Powerball.

This page explains what you need to do to play the new game depending on which program you have.

Users of the Florida software can upgrade to ensure access to the downloadable results for Powerball, or if you want to enter your own results you can configure the spare game4 as below.

To configure your program for the Powerball change do the following:

  • Make sure you have checked all your entries for the old game. This is important because the results and entry files for the old game will be removed.

  • Go to File > Configure Game > Powerball.

  • Change the Number of main balls in pool to 59
  • Change the Number of bonus balls in bonus ball pool to 39
  • DO NOT change ANY other setting on the above screen, otherwise the result download for Powerball may fail.
  • Click Save Game Definition button

  • Click the Yes button
  • Select Winning Combinations tab and enter the following:

  • Click on the Save Winning Lines button
  • Select Draw Days tab and select Wednesday and Saturday and click the Save Draw Days button as follows:

  • Select Preferences tab and click the Save Preferences button (note there is no confirmation for this button).

  • Click on the Exit button
  • Close the lottery program and restart it. The new game will now be configured.
